Top 10 Kickstarter Projects: September 2015, Week 1
1. Helix Bike: A high-end titanium frame folding bike made in Canada. Best reward level: $1,190 for one bike. Project ends 10/1. As of this writing it has raised over $620,000. Back it here.
3. Snooz: A “sound conditioner” (i.e. noise machine) with a real fan inside of it to help you sleep better. Best reward level: $49 for an early bird Snooz. These guys put together a great video and have raised around $38k of their $100,000 goal. The project ends on 10/21. Back it here.
4. Less: “Like chess but less” boardgame. These guys sent me a copy of their game all the way from Slovenia. After playing it a few times I fully recommend it. The randomized board (made out of drink coaster sized pieces) keeps things fresh. Best reward: $16 for the game. The project ends on 10/5 and has raised over $18,000 versus their goal of $4,000. 5. go-e ONwheel: Converts any bike into an e-bike. Best reward: $550 for a go-e bike power kit. Project ends on 9/12 and has raised over $250,000 vs goal of $55,253. Back it here.
6. Pearbuds: The world’s smallest stereo cordless earbuds. Remember when Apple made wearing earbuds seem cool? Yeah, now they are just annoying. These guys cut the cord and have created a wireless pair of stereo earbuds. Best reward: $119 for a pair of Pearbuds and the portable charging case. The project ends on 9/18 and has raised over $360,000 versus their goal of $50,000. Back it here.
7. Perch Desk: An affordable and adjustable sit-to-stand desk made from wood. Best reward: $179 for their 29 inch desk. The project ends on 11/1 and has raised over $93,000 compared to their goal of $20,000. Back it here.
8. The 365 Hat. A uncrushable, stain resistant, waterproof Indiana Jones style hate with a 10 year guarantee. Best reward level: $70 for one 365 hat in your color of choice. The project ends on 9/17 and has raised over $28,000 compared to their foal of $7,000. Back it here.
9. Dundabunga: An adjustable copper mounting system for smartphones, tablets and cameras. Best reward level: $35 for 1 Dundabunga and two mounting discs. The project ends on 9/9 and has raised over $66,000 versus their goal of $5,000. Back it here.
10. ChopTainer: A cutting board companion that makes slicing, dicing, rinsing, and measuring a breeze. Best reward level: $20 for a set of three ChopTainers. The project ends on 10/1 and has raised roughly half of its $10,000 goal. Back it here.
